RESEARCHING BLACK PROGRESS
A Mutually Beneficial Experience
I love conducting research and this project is very dear to my heart. Over the course of my career, I have built a solid reputation as a quantitative social scientist. Specifically, I have analyzed huge datasets that contain a range of information on African Americans. My specialty is using fancy computer-based analysis to learn about Black public opinion and conditions in Black neighborhoods. Still, there's nothing like talking to people directly. It's time for me to get out into communities and talk to people directly. I have so many questions and you hold all of the answers.
My dream is to conduct community-engaged studies across the country and expand our thinking about what academic research looks like. But I have to begin somewhere so I chose two iconic cities, Chicago, IL, and Atlanta, GA. I am so excited to get started and share with the world what I have learned. Thank you in advance for your interest and support. I do not take it lightly. It means more to me than you'll ever know... All right, let's do this! Let's chat!
Be Well,
Kindly,
Dr. Jessica Lynn Stewart
